1. Overview

   Dedupli-cat-e Notion is a Chrome extension designed to connect directly to your Notion workspace to provide its functionality. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

   Your data stays with you.

   The extension does not operate any external servers, does not track your browsing activity, and does not collect personal data outside what is strictly necessary to function.

2. Data Collection and Usage

   The extension facilitates a direct connection between your browser and the Notion API. All data handling is limited to this purpose.

   Notion Integration Tokens

   To connect to the Notion API, you must provide an internal Notion integration token.

   • The token is stored locally in your browser’s extension storage.
   • It is never transmitted to us, stored on external servers, or shared with third parties.

   Notion Content

   The extension may read data from the Notion pages or databases you explicitly select in order to:

   • Display content within the extension interface
   • Process records as part of the extension’s functionality

   Local Storage

   Data fetched from Notion may be temporarily stored in local extension storage (for example, chrome.storage.local) to improve performance and usability.
   This data remains entirely on your device.

   Data Updates

   Any changes made using the extension are sent directly from your browser to Notion using the official Notion API.
   We do not intercept, log, or store these changes externally.

3. Analytics and Tracking

   The extension itself does not collect analytics or telemetry.
   We do not track your browsing activity.
   Aggregated usage statistics (such as install or uninstall counts) may be provided automatically by the Chrome Web Store. These statistics do not provide access to your Notion content or personal data.

4. Data Transfer

   We do not transfer your data to third‑party servers.
   All network communication occurs exclusively between your local device and api.notion.com.
   We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information or Notion content.

5. Storage and Security All data handled by the extension remains stored locally within your browser. Because no external servers are involved, data security depends on the security of your device and browser environment.

6. User Control and Data Deletion

   You have full control over your data:

   • Token removal: You may remove your Notion integration token at any time within the extension settings.
   • Uninstallation: Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data associated with it.

7. Permissions

   The extension requires the following permissions to function:

   • storage - to save user settings and cached data locally
   • Host permissions (api.notion.com) - to communicate directly with the Notion API

   These permissions are used solely to provide the extension’s core functionality.

8. EU / UK (GDPR) Users

   The extension processes data solely on your device in order to provide its functionality. No personal data is stored on external servers or shared with us or third parties.
   You can stop all data processing at any time by revoking the Notion integration token or uninstalling the extension.

9. Public Website Analytics

   Our public website (separate from the Chrome extension) uses Google Analytics to measure general website traffic.
   This analytics usage does not apply to the extension itself and does not involve access to Notion data or browser activity.

10. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the “Effective Date” at the top of this document.
